Dave Penzler:

       Dave Pelzer was born on December 29,1960. He was born in Daly City, in California. His dad was a fireman in San Francisco. He was abused by his mom as a young kid she would all call it a game. She made him drink ammonia, eat his own vomit, and burn his hand over a gas burner. She was really mean to him and that expired him to write the book A Child Called it and Lost Boy. He is a well-known American writer.

     He then got help at the foster care at the age of 12. His teacher notified the police and then he was taken into foster care. He was there till the age of 18 until he grew up to write book on his horrible experiences with his mom. He today is 46 and is a very successful man he writes book and they are hits. They are New York Bestsellers!

    He now goes around the world and tells people his story and inspires people to not keep quiet when they are being abused. He is now a very helpful man because he helps people understand that they do not have to keep quiet. He travels 250 days to help large groups understand the concept that keeping quit is bad for them.  He is a great writer and his books are also called inspiring. He has got lots of awards for his writing and books. 

     He has lots of books and some of them are The Lost Boy, A Child Called It, and The Privilege of Youth. Those books are inspiring to people all around the world and helps kids understand that silence is not healthy for you. He writes in these books to help people out. He is now a really good writer and he is a idol for a lot of people today.
